1. Signing and witness ceremony

This element is used to create a sense of an official ceremony. The Bride, Groom and witnesses sign a commemorative copy of your vows, typically offering guests a chance to take pictures and confetti to be handed out.

£60 (includes commemorative vows)

2. Handfasting

Handfasting, or hand tying is a traditional wedding ceremony element. Your hands are bound together (tying the knot) with a cloth in the figure of eight, to symbolise the bringing together of the two hearts in a marriage of strength and unity. Alternatively, coloured ribbons symbolising elements of a strong marriage can be used, and is a great way to get friends and family involved by passing over the ribbons as they are tied.

From £85 (includes tartan cloth, coloured ribbons or bespoke cloth in a presentation box. Price depends on selection)

3. Sand unity ceremony

Sand (either ceremonial or collected from specific locations) is poured from separate vessels into one. Once together, the tiny grains of sand become inseparable from each other, symbolising your everlasting union.

From £70 (price will depend on specifics of sand and vessels used)

4. Flower blessing

In this beautiful, typically Hindu tradition, you place a flower garland over each other's heads, symbolising your love and respect for one another. It can also be performed by your in-laws or most treasured friends or family as a blessing.

From £70 (includes 2 flower garlands, price will vary for more)

5. A first toast

A first toast is a ceremony element held in many traditions, but can be adapted to your unique needs. In Scottish tradition both take a sip of whiskey from a Quaich – the ‘loving cup’, symbolising trust, friendship and a shared future together. You can involve guests by using a ceremonial bucket instead and passing it around the crowd for everyone to take a sip.

From £100 (price depends on selection and includes an engraved Quaich, etched glasses or bucket)

6. Your own ritual

If you have a specific ritual that you would like that does not appear on this menu, or would like some help to create a new ritual I will be more than happy to help you with this.

£varied (Costs for your own ritual are dependent on apparel and time. Ritual consultation - £40)
